Our activities

Participation in the NEDO Green Innovation Fund Project/ Development of Core Technologies for Hydrogen-Powered Aircraft

In November 2021, KITZ was subcontracted by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., the lead organization selected for this project, to develop valve technologies for two key areas: “Engine Combustor and System Technologies for Hydrogen-Powered Aircraft” and “Development of Liquid Hydrogen Fuel Storage Tanks.”

As a participating company in this national project, KITZ is dedicated to advancing hydrogen valve technologies and contributing through innovation to the realization of a carbon-neutral future in the aviation industry.
Valve Development for the Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS), For the Lunar Orbital Platform “Gateway” / International Habitation Module (I-Hab)

In June 2025, KITZ was entrusted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.—a key organization in the development of this project—with the development of valves essential to life support systems for astronauts. As a valve manufacturer, KITZ is committed to tackling the technical challenges required for crewed space transportation and lunar energy systems, supporting the success of future manned lunar exploration missions.
