MGA in Brazil Celebrates New Plant Completion, Aims to Boost Industrial Ball Valve Production

Metalúrgica Golden Art’s Ltda. (MGA), KITZ Group company in Brazil, celebrated the completion of its new plant in April. With a goal to strengthen our global production structure based on the 1st Medium-Term Management Plan, the move intends to substantially enhance the productivity of industrial ball valves for the Brazilian internal market and to ensure a stable supply to our customers.

 

■Overview of the plant
The new facility is a 6,189-square-meter building within a total area of 28,000 square meters, aiming to increase its production capacity by 30%. MGA continues to boost productivity and offers a faster supply of high-quality products.

■Completion Ceremony
From Japan, Mr. Makoto Kohno and Mr. Yasunori Sugita, who are President and Senior Executive Officer of KITZ respectively, joined the ceremony. They shared their vision for business growth and expansion with distributors, stakeholders, and MGA employees. After an opening greeting from Mr. Dirceu Tadesco, President of MGA, Mr. Kohno delivered a speech on the motivation behind the construction of the new plant and his hopes for increasing production capacity. Attendees were also given a tour of the newly built plant, where they could see the advancements in casting technology and efforts to improve production efficiency through automation.
