Forming Partnership in the Hydrogen and Clean Energy Market

KITZ Corporation (Headquarters: Tokyo, Director, Representative officer and President: Makoto Kohno, hereinafter “KITZ”), has signed a basic agreement for a business alliance with AID Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka, Representative Director: Suetsugu Hidenori, hereinafter “AID”) on February 1, 2025, to further promote the establishment of a hydrogen supply chain to achieve a carbon neutral society.

<Reasons for the Business Alliance>
Hydrogen is a key energy source for achieving carbon neutrality and is expected to be widely used in various fields such as the mobility and power generation sectors. In Japan, “Bill for the Act on Promotion of Supply and Utilization of Low-Carbon Hydrogen and its Derivatives for Smooth Transition to a Decarbonized, Growth-Oriented Economic Structure” was enacted in October, 2024. KITZ provides valves and hydrogen package units based on its long-standing fluid control and cryogenic temperature technologies to support the hydrogen society. AID is an engineering company specializing in gas control, focusing on the design, production, on-site construction, and commissioning of various control panels. Through this collaboration with AID, we aim to contribute to the further development of businesses leveraging the strengths of both companies to promote the hydrogen society.

<Main Contents of the Business Alliance>
(1)Product Development: Collaborating on customizing overseas products for the domestic market and developing new products for new business ventures
(2) Human Resource: Sharing progress and challenges in business and cooperating towards problem-solving, as well as engaging in personnel exchanges when necessary
(3) Procurement : Utilizing each other’s domestic and international procurement sources to assist in procuring units and electrical equipment
(4) Sales : Selling units and equipment necessary for utilizing hydrogen through the most effective means
(5) Service : Mutual utilization of maintenance functions to establish an optimal service system

<Outlook for the Future>
While the current impact on performance is minimal, we believe that this business alliance will contribute to enhancing the corporate value of both companies in the future. If any significant impact on performance becomes apparent in the future, we will promptly notify stakeholders.
