KITZ Corporation has acquired the “DX Certification” based on the DX Certification System established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as of April 1, 2024.

■About the DX Certification
The DX Certification Program is a scheme in which the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry certifies companies that are ready to promote digital transformation and meet the basic requirements specified in the “Digital Governance Code,” based on the Act on Facilitation of Information Processing.

■KITZ’s DX Initiatives
Under the Long-term Management Vision “Beyond New Heights 2030 – Changing the Flow,” the KITZ Group is aiming to change its earning structure. We are allocating our management resources to growth and new fields while growing our core business simultaneously. One of the key elements of the Vision is to redirect the resources to more value-added tasks by eliminating inefficiencies through DX.

Ongoing project to analyze and resolve issues in existing operations
In 2021, we started a business innovation project. We identified and mapped out inefficiencies and problems in our operations. As a result, we could recognize the issues that each department and the whole organization need to tackle. In January 2022, we created an action plan to solve these issues and launched a company-wide business transformation task force with the President as the leader. About 20% of our total employees from different generations, genders, and careers joined the task force and have been working in function-specific working groups that cooperate across departments.

・ In-house technical support system for valves (expediting quotation processes)
・ Adoption of smart glasses for on-site support
