Obtaining AEO Certification
On January 30, KITZ was certified by Nagoya Customs as an “Authorized Economic Operator (AEO),” and the ceremony was held at the Nagoya Customs Office on March 8.
The AEO Scheme is a program under which customs recognizes operators with an appropriate cargo security and compliance system, and benefits them with advantages such as simplified and expedited customs procedures. This has enabled us to bring imported cargo directly from the Port of Nagoya to our Ina Plant, where the cargo is delivered to each plant. KITZ will strive to improve costs, inventories, and lead times.
