KITZ, founded in 1951, is one of the world's largest producers of valves. But unlike most manufacturers, KITZ produces valves in its own facilities. From the initial pour through machining and assembly to testing and final shipment, KITZ highly trained personnel control every aspect of production. KITZ quality is guaranteed because we alone control our production process. We don not outsource our product or put our name on anyone else's valves.
KITZ total control of manufacturing insures a consistency of product unparalleled in the valving industry. Total control results in high integrity castings, tight tolerances between the stem and ball, ball roundness or sphericity ( 0.02 mm) and smoothness (4RMS) and seat preload. These features result in smooth and low torque rotation and smaller operators when actuation is required.
In 1989 KITZ received its first ISO 9001 certification, the first in the valve industry!
Closely controlled casting and machining allow KITZ ball valves to meet and exceed emission levels dictated by the Federal Clean Air Act of 1990. Our compliance guarantees are based on extensive laboratory testing and confirmed by actual user based installations.
All valves are tested to a minimum of API 598 prior to shipment.
In evaluating your valving needs, consider KITZ ball valves. From 600# WOG screwed brass to ANSI 600# flanged floating and characterized valves in cast carbon and stainless steel (including both high and low alloys) KITZ can be your solution to your most demanding applications.
