1. TESTING: Are all valves tested before they leave the factory?
YES.

2. MTRs: Are Material Test Reports (MTR) available?
YES. An MTR, Inspection Certificate, and Hardness Test Report is available on each ANSI rated Gate, Globe, Check, and Ball valves shipped to North America.

3. Can I get a mill test report for a commercial valve e.g. bronze and cast iron valves?
Individual MTR's are not available for these products. We can offer a certificate of compliance.

4. Are torque or Cv values available?
Kitz does not publish this data in our catalogs. This information can be obtained by calling someone in our customer service department in Stafford, TX.

5. What is the country of origin of your valves?
Kitz owns manufacturing facilities in Japan, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan, and Thailand.

6. Can my order ship today?
Kitz puts a high priority on satisfying our customers. If an order needs to ship the same day we will do everything possible to accommodate this request. However, we do ask that a reasonable amount of time is given to enter, pull and ship the order. If we receive an order by 2:00 p.m. central standard time, then we should be able to ship the order the same day. Air freight orders always ship the same day.

7. Do you have any inventory other than at your location in Stafford?
Kitz has four consignment warehouses in the U.S. These locations carry our bronze, brass and iron valves. Because these are consigned stock locations, Kitz owns and has access to their inventory. We can ship from these locations at no extra charge to our customers. However, freight charges may vary depending on the location of the warehouse.

8. Does Kitz inventory spare parts for valves?
Kitz inventories soft parts repair kits for our flanged floating ball valves. Spare parts for other products are available upon request.

9. Can KCA modify or test valves?
YES. Modification and testing is warranted through "Kitz Approved Modification Shops". These shops have been certified by the Kitz Quality Department.

10. Does Kitz offer any UL listed products?
Figure #68 (AKTAF) is UL listed and AGA/CGA approved.

11. Does Kitz have any representatives overseas?
Kitz has representatives in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Please contact Kitz for a specific country.

1. LOCKING DEVICE: Does KITZ have a Locking Lever or Oval Handle for ball valves?
There are several answers to this question depending on the type of ball valve for your needs.
A. Flanged floating ball valves are supplied with a locking device that is independent of the operator. They are an integral part of the mechanical stopper.
B. The #39 and #49, threaded 2000 WOG SS and Carbon Standard Port, are also provided with Locking Levers as standard.
C. #68, Brass 600 WOG Thd. Full Port CGA/AGA/UL/FM rated valve can be provided with a locking lever (LL) or locking Oval Handle (OH-L) as an option.

2. OVAL HANDLES: Are Oval Handles available for floating ball valves?
YES. All ANSI rated, as well as most threaded, solder joint, and socket weld end valves can be fitted with an Oval Handle (OH) available for sizes ¼²~2².

3. NACE:
All Carbon and 316SS ball valves comply with NACE MR01-75 as standard. The body bolting for the two piece design is B7M/2HM.

4. Do Kitz ball valves comply with NACE?
YES. All flanged floating ball valves comply with NACE.

5. Does Kitz make a top-entry ball valve?
NO. Kitz manufactures standard port ball valves in the end-entry design and full port in a split body design.

1. NACE: Do KITZ stainless steel valves meet NACE?
YES. The standard 316 valves manufactured by KITZ will comply with the general requirements of NACE MR01-75. The bolting material is suitable for service conditions described for Class III usage's.

2. Wedge design:
The standard wedge design for all KITZ ANSI rated SS gate valves is Flexible wedge throughout the size range.
